These herbs are combined in a psyllium husk base which absorbs toxins in the colon, toxins that are major contributors to cholesterol imbalance.

Guggul - Guggul comes from the resin of the Indian medicinal plant, Commiphora mukul. It contains a mixture of diterpenes, sterols, sterolins, esters and sterol ketones. Guggul promotes the maintenance of healthy blood lipids and triglyceride levels. It helps increase the liver’s metabolism of LDL blood lipids in addition to promoting healthy HDL levels, contributing to more efficient production of biochemically balanced bile, allowing for improved fat digestion and efficient absorption of cholesterol in the intestines.

Psyllium Husk - Studies have shown that psyllium husk is effective in lowering total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein or LDL (the bad cholesterol) levels.
