The Multi Layers of Filtration
Ceramic Pre-Filter
The first stage of filtration occurs as the water passes through the ceramic pre-filter. This is where rusts and other particulate matter are removed. The ceramic filter captures sediment, removing particles and pollutants down to 0.3 microns in size. The ceramic filter can be washed - extending it's life up to one year depending on water quality.

Activated Carbon
Carbon is one of the most widely used filtering materials incorporated in quality water fitration systems. Activated carbon increases the surface area of the carbon for greater adsorption of contaminants - including TCM's, PCB's and pesticides.
