The World Health Organization and National Cancer Institute
both suggest that most human cancers, perhaps as many as 90% are

The Rhino EQ-300 is certified by UL (Underwriters Laboratories)
to NSF
standard 42 with class 1 performance.
This means the system is certified to remove chlorine, odor, taste,
and sediment. The EQ-300 produced non-detectable levels of chlorine
for 300,000 gallons, the highest certified capacity of any home
water filter ever.
The next closest certified performance was from an NSA filter that
was certified to 75,000 gallons (that certification expired a few
years ago).
The cost of testing for a 300,000 gallon cycle is prohibitive.
Just the chlorine test cost the factory $80,000.

4 stage filtration process supplies better than bottled water quality throughout the entire household for only pennies a day. Keep in
mind that your house plumbing can often reintroduce lead and other undesireable chemicals into to your
water. Therefore we recommend using our Aquasana AQ-4000 Countertop Filter in the kitchen or wherever most drinking water is used. This inexpensive little filter (US $99.99) has never been out performed even by filters costing ten times as much!
The U.S. EPA has stated that, "every
household in America, on municipally treated water, has an elevated
level of Chloroform gas in the air, specifically from showering,
washing dishes, washing clothes and flushing toilets." The
Rhino will filter out the Chlorine, so that you are not
exposing your family to the carcinogenic and asthma and allergy
irritating effects of Chloroform Gas every time you turn on a faucet, flush
a toilet,
wash dishes, wash clothes, shower, or bathe.
The Rhino EQ-300 is also the only perfect shower filter
there is. Because of the size constraints, the difficulty in filtering
hot water (90-110
degrees), and the 2.5 gallon per minute flow rate, no shower filter
can
remove all of the Chloroform, Chlorine and THM's present in tap
water. The EQ-300 is also the only viable way to filter bath
water. This is because there are no standards for bath faucets,
and there is no way to design an adapter that will fit all or most.

Comes complete with main filter unit, pre-filter, installation
kit, shut-off valve and required hardware. The Rhino requires 45"
of vertical clearance, has a diameter of 9" at the base, and
requires 24" of line length for proper installation. Typical
installation is 1-2 hours by a licensed plumber, and is usually
done in your basement, garage, or hot water heater closet.
The main filter unit is easily replaced no plumber needed, every
3 - 5 years (up to 5 years with no swimming pool).

Stage 1. Sediment Pre-Filter. This stage uses a replaceable cartridge
that mechanically filters down to 5 microns. This important first
stage filters the sediment (rust and debris) that may be in the
municipal water supply so it doesn't clog the main filter and reduce
water flow and/or filter life.
Stage 2. Redox Potential Filtration.
KDF® process media are high-purity copper-zinc formulations is used to create an active filtration method for heavy metals, possessing a characteristic known as redox potential, which can alter the molecular structure of inorganic elements by exchanging electrons with contaminants. The give and take of electrons changes many contaminants into harmless components. This combination media creates an active filtration method removing chlorine and pre-conditioning the water. This stage allows
for maximum preformance from the final 2 stages.
Stage 3. Macro Filtration. Contains a high grade, large-granule GAC/coconut shell based on granular activated carbon & bituminous charcoal for improved reduction of impurities. This high-activity carbon is specifically designed
for high efficient water purification, for the maximum reduction
of synthetic chemicals. (VOCs, THMs, and SOCs.)
Stage 4. Micro Filtration.
Contains a high grade small-granule coconut shell-based activated carbon for an expanded surface area, which provides the highest reaction kinetics and adsorptive capacity. This is
